Whitsundays Shopping Centre, Whitsunday Coast

A fire within a food tenancy at the Whitsundays Shopping Centre destroyed the immediate tenancy and affected 3800m2 of adjoining tenants resulting in the requirement for a complete roof replacement, removal and replacement of the ceiling throughout the centre and all associated services including electrical, fire and mechanical.

The shopping centre included a Target, 4 major financial institutions and 20 specialty stores. The rectification project involved meticulous planning and co-ordination with shops and business owners and included after hours works to ensure businesses were ready for trade the following day.
