The Stock Exchange Hotel, Brisbane

Paynter Dixon Group commenced work at The Stock Exchange after the catastrophic hail storm of November 2014. The works included both levels of the Hotel, ensuring that heritage listed structures were not compromised.

An internal fit out, incorporating new ceilings, floor coverings, a rooftop beer garden, new dining rooms and kitchen were all part of giving The Stock Exchange a face lift. There were many challenges that PDQ had to overcome, including staged works to keep trading disruptions to a minimum. Coordinating street traffic within the middle of the city centre also posed some difficulty, with PDQ working closely with all parties involved to maintain clear lines of communication.

Oozing sophistication and quality, the recently renovated Stock Exchange has transformed its image, whilst still preserving aspects and snippets of what makes this historic landmark such a huge part of Brisbane.
