BOC Warehouse

Paynter Dixon Group became involved in the make safe of the BOC Gases Rocklea site in December 2014. PDQ were requested to attend and secure the site

Considerable Asbestos was identified with various buildings, which required attention prior to commencing restoration. BOC staff were relocated to various temporary facility locations, whilst the works were complete. A suitable site at Acacia Ridge was located and a design prepared along with a temporary gas bottle storage facility. The facility was built in a relatively short time to accommodate the employees of BOC.

There were three building in total that were damaged including the Administration, Direct Distribution Centre and Regional Distribution Centres. PDQ started demolition and scaffolding works as areas were identified as asbestos free.

Paynter Dixon Group commenced reconstruction and as progressively the Rocklea site was declared asbestos free.
