Kedron-Wavell Services Club Café HQ

When the Club asked PDQ to design and construct their new Café HQ, the result was a journey which substantially transformed the way patrons experience the Club, starting from first arrival through to the discovery of the new Cafe within.

The functional aim of the project was to expand the dining offering of the original Café, and to reinvent its brand within the Club. The main features of the project included an impressive external covered courtyard, a doubling of the seating capacity, a brand new kitchen area, a contemporary new Bar and Cafe servery, and a feature wine display. All of which are enveloped in a striking, iconic vertical blade structure that dramatically invigorates the theatre of the entry experience into the Club.

The rich and inviting décor, along with key specialist lighting helps reinvent this once tired space into an energised Café by day and an alluring sophisticated restaurant by night.
